We do not guarantee the geolocation accuracy of any IP address, nor do we guarantee that an IP will remain clean or unblocked by any third-party network, service, or government-level restriction, including but not limited to the Great Firewall of China (GFW).
IP geolocation data is maintained by third-party databases, not by us. While we do submit correction requests to these databases when an IP is geolocated incorrectly, it is ultimately up to each provider to review and apply the change, and the timeline and outcome are usually outside of our control.
IP addresses can be geoblocked, flagged, or filtered at any time by outside networks for reasons entirely outside of our control. If an IP is blocked or throttled by the GFW or a similar system, there is generally nothing we are able to do to resolve it, and we are unable to offer support for bypassing these restrictions.
